This Day in History: 1787-09-17

Delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the U.S. Constitution, making it the law of the land.  Abigail Adams’ dictate to her husband to “remember the ladies” goes unheeded.  September 17 is now known as “Constitution Day” in the United States of America.
